OKETA COLLECTION - YES YOU CAN -
アートコレクターである桶田俊二・聖子夫妻が収集する現代アートのコレクション展「YES YOU CAN」。桶田夫妻が現代アートを収集するきっかけにもなった作家・草間彌生氏をはじめ、近年注目を集めている近藤亜樹氏、ジャデ・ファドジュティミ氏、山下紘加氏などの作品が一堂に会します。全ての作品は女性のアーティストによるもの。逞しく力強く、生命力に満ちた作品群が、ポジティブなメッセージを与えてくれます。
会場内のグラフィックデザインでは、エネルギーが巡るようなカラフルなグラデーションを使用しました。紙を折ったような、立体のような、薄いような厚いような…見方によって印象の変わるラインを描いています。主張しすぎないけれど存在感のある不思議な造形で、各作家ブースへの誘導サインとしてデザインしました。

OKETA COLLECTION - YES YOU CAN -
"YES YOU CAN" is an exhibition of contemporary art brought together by art collectors Shunji and Seiko Oketa. On display will be works by Yayoi Kusama, the artist who inspired the Oketas to begin collecting contemporary art, as well as Aki Kondo, Jade Fadojutimi and Hiroka Yamashita, all of whom have been attracting attention in recent years. All of the works are by female artists. Strong, powerful, and filled with vitality, these assembled works convey positive messages.
For the graphic design of the venue, I used colorful gradations in which energy seems to flow. I designed lines that give off a different impression depending on how you look at them... they look like folded paper, three-dimensional, looking thin, then looking thick. I created this design as guiding signs to each artist's booth, using mysterious shapes that have a strong presence without being overstated.
